"Population Growth" "7 Billion, National Geographic Magazine"
Population Distribution: This map shows the distribution of the world's population. As you can see, China and India are dark blue, which means that they are the most populated countries in the world with 1 billion + people.
World Mortality Rate: This map shows the average death rate for each country around the world(deaths/1,000 population). The highest mortality rate seems to be in the less developed countires, such as South Africa, Somalia, and so on.
World Infant Mortality Rate(2009): This map shows the deaths per 1,000 live births. Most of these deaths seem to be occuring where famine and AIDS is a nation-wide problem. Life Expectancy: This map is representing the life expectency in each country, the red countries having the lowest life expectancies. The countries with the lower life expectancies are like that because of the AIDS breakout in Africa and the less developed countries not being able to have health care and such things as that.
